'synopsis' => 'En la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, desde la década de 1990 el pueblo Kankuamo ha venido desarrollando un proceso de reconstrucción y recuperación de su identidad. La obra es un homenaje a la participación de mujeres como María Inés Carrillo, Lorena Gutiérrez, Hilda Martínez, Juanita Montero, entre otras, quienes participaron en este proceso y permitieron la articulación de las distintas comunidades y los grupos que conformaron la Organización Indígena Kankuama. El documental hace un recorrido por las distintas comunidades y a partir de las entrevistas a cada una de estas mujeres, nos ofrece una memoria audiovisual acerca de los múltiples retos que enfrentó el proceso.'

En particular, para el pueblo indígena de los Pastos, el buen morir es entendido como la prolongación de la vida en otros mundos, de ahí la importancia de que el difunto se vaya acompañado de comida, bebida, oro, textiles y herramientas de trabajo que le servirán en su otra vida. La muerte no es el fin de la existencia, es solo un paso, siempre y cuando la memoria de quienes han partido se mantenga viva, por tal motivo, un mes antes del primero de noviembre, las familias se preparan para el Anku Tupue, el tiempo de los muertos.',
